Aloha, beautiful souls!
My name is Annette Omuro and I have always been interested
in teaching. Especially, children! I remember my mother telling me that when I was a youngster
and my friends would gather at our house to play, I always wanted to “play
school.” I of course had to be the “teacher”. That desire stayed with me and I never once thought of doing
anything else but teach. In 1961, I graduated from a small teacher’s college in
Monmouth, Oregon, and started my teaching career in Hawai`i as an elementary
school teacher.
Because every day was a brand new day, you forgot the unexpected
challenges and incidents that happened the day before. In fact, those challenges made me a wiser
person, and brought out the creativity in me. I always knew that tomorrow would be a better
day.
It’s been 20 years since I’ve retired from my teaching
career. However, I have never stopped teaching. When you have 5 children and 9
grandchildren, teaching and learning new things never ceases.
There was a quote over the entrance of my college elementary
training school, “He who dares to teach must never cease to learn.” I took that
to heart, and at this time in my life, I find myself on a spiritual journey
that keeps me learning every single moment of the day. That is the inspiration
behind this blog. This is all so new to me, and because I’m technologically challenged,
I will really have to work hard to learn how to do this successfully.
I will be devoting this blog to “My Soul Healing Miracle
Journey, Sharing Master Sha’s Sacred Wisdom, Knowledge, and Practical
Techniques with Children”. Many of my
experiences and stories will be about my children and grandchildren, and I’m
excited to be sharing what I feel will benefit other parents and grandparents. I will start with a monthly entry and see
where it goes from there. Thank you all
for joining me on this journey.
With love and light,
Master Annette
